It’s easy to buy pre-made tuna salads in a store, but it’s so much more fun and creative to do it yourself. The whole process takes about 5 minutes, and you get exactly the taste you want. Spice it up, or keep it mellow. This is our recipe for tuna salad, but every time we make it we change a thing or two. You will find this version on some of our upcoming sandwiches, such as the Tuna Salad Appetizer. Bon Appétit.
Tuna Salad Recipe
- 8 oz of canned tuna
- 3 3/4 oz mayonnaise
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 1/2 oz capers
- 1 tsp rajma masala
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, squished
- 4 tbs chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp green pepper
Squeeze as much liquid as you can out of the canned tuna.
Mix all the ingredients except the capers until you have a consistent mix. Carefully blend in the capers at the end, and place in the refrigerator to chill for half an hour. Enjoy chilled, and on sandwiches of course.
