These Parmesan crisps are very easy to make and great on sandwiches and with soups. Since we are using some of these for our sandwiches, we thought we would share this simple process.
Parmesan Crisp Recipe
- 1 1/2 tbs shredded Parmesan cheese per crisp
Depending on the size of your cookie sheet, grate enough Parmesan cheese to cover a cookie sheet with crisps, leaving an inch between each crisp.
Cover a cookie sheet with baking paper, and spread out the cheese in flat round shapes (See photo below).
Pre-heat your oven to 350 F, and when it’s warm, place the sheet in the middle of the oven for 5-10 minutes. Check regularly, and remove your crisps when they just start to get golden.
Tip: While warm, the crisps can be shaped if you want to make a waffle shape or a rolled up shape, but you have to work fast, and be very careful not to burn yourself on the hot cheese.
