OK, you have a point. This is perhaps not quite amazing enough to be on “amazing sandwiches”… But we liked it. This is a simple, plain garden variety burger, and sometimes that’s all you need to bring you back from a long day at work doing the man’s bidding. Yes, you know what we mean; cubicle work!
Sandwich Recipe
- Pandesal Roll
- 4 tsp Mustard and Basil dressing
- 3 leaves of spinach
- 1 beef patty
- 1/2 tomato,
- 1/2 baby cucumber
Cut the roll in half, and toast it lightly. Spread the dressing on both top and bottom half. Then add spinach, patty, tomato and cucumber, close the sandwich and enjoy while warm.
Beef Patties (Makes 4-6)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 3 minced cloves of garlic
- 1 1/2 cup of finely chopped parsley
- 2 tsp rajma masala
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients, and shape into burgers. Grill for 8-12 minutes on high until they are cooked all the way through and have grill marks.
